A Republican For Kerry

A Republican For Kerry

When I was a boy growing up in the Santa Clara Valley, Pete McCloskey was a "moderate Republican" (remember those?) serving in the House of Representatives. A letter from McCloskey supporting Kerry for President was recently published in the San Jose Mercury News. To spare you having to register there, I'm sending you to another blog.

Now, if you're wondering what separates McCloskey, a Republican supporting a Democratic Presidential candidate, from Zell Miller, a Democrat supporting a Republican Presidential candidate, all I can tell you is that McCloskey isn't batshit crazy. Zell Miller clearly is.

Comment For some reason, the people who disagree with me here keep bringing this up, and I keep asking for an explanation and never get one. Yet, I'll try again. Please, tell me like I'm eight years old and I need simple words and clear connections; what is the connection between 9/11 and the war in Iraq? Before I can even consider anything else you had to say, I need a cogent answer to that question from you.

Comment Anyone, and I mean anyone who is willing to vote for Kerry after he voted for the war and then turned around and voted to not support the troops is a complete and total idiot. Last night Kerry had the nerve to mention that our troops were fighting a war without body armor. This is the same imbecile that voted to NOT FUND that body armor. Never, and I mean NEVER in the history of the U.S. has there been such an indecisive ignorant man running for the highest office in the world. I am very ashamed to know that after what happened in New York, Washington D.C; and Pennsylvania on September the 11th any American could possibly place their vote with anyone other then our current President, President George W. Bush. Let?s Roll GW!
